Welcome to McAuley
McAuley High School is an all-girls school deeply rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church and in the charism of the Sisters of Mercy. Mother Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, had a unique vision for education that encompassed educating the whole person. In the Sisters of Mercy tradition, McAuley High School offers a college preparatory, comprehensive, enlivened educational process, which leads to the nurturing and development of the McAuley graduate.
The McAuley graduate is:
a woman of faith,
a woman of excellence,
a woman of respect for herself and others,
a woman of compassionate service, and
a woman empowered to influence the world
The McAuley woman appreciates that learning is a life-long process. She also knows that the world is her classroom. Enhancing the challenging curriculum are state-of-the-art technological methods taught by master teachers. Further learning takes place in trips abroad, global student exchanges, mission trips to third world countries, leadership training workshops and camps, underwater explorations, and more. Confident in her ability, the McAuley woman seeks opportunities to stretch her mind and imagination to make a lasting impact on the world.
Catherine McAuley had a vision. We have the privilege of knowing it, the responsibility to understand it, the duty to protect it, and the honor of living it.
Come see for yourself!
