The Future is Golden | McAuley High School has transformed its historic auditorium into a dynamic and exciting performing arts center. With a newly renovated performing arts center, McAuley’s outstanding Fine Arts Program will continue to flourish and provide students, and the Cincinnati community, with a state-of-the-art environment in which to perform, create, and entertain.
Campaign Goals
The Future is Golden Campaign will raise $2,700,000 to restore the Performing Arts Center:
- Full asbestos abatement in auditorium, stage and below stage rooms
- “State of the Art” motorized orchestra pit lift
- Air-Conditioning in auditorium, stage and below stage rooms
- Refurbished auditorium seating
- ADA compliant seating layout
- New house lighting throughout auditorium
- New stage curtains and rigging
- New “state of the art” stage lighting
- New “state of the art” auditorium sound system
- Refinished stage floor
- New paint throughout auditorium and stage
- New carpet throughout auditorium
- Upgraded auditorium entrance
- Refurbished Men’s restroom adjacent to auditorium
- New performer’s entrance to stage
The renovated auditorium, newly named the McAuley Performing Arts Center, is available for use by the community at large as well as our student body, our alumnae, and our visitors. The renovated performing arts center will enhance the lives of students, adults, and families in College Hill and the surrounding communities well into the future.
